Belarusian philosopher, writer and civil activist Alyaksandr Patupa has died
A Belarusian philosopher, writer and civil activist Alyaksandr Patupa died in Baraulyany Hospital on Monday. He was 64 year old.
“We organized a round-table discussion on May 14 and he made a report there. On the whole, nothing could betoken it”, - said members of the Belarusian Union of Entrepreneurs that had been headed by Alyaksandr Patupa once.
He was a many-sided and talented person.
Patupa was also known as a scientist who worked in the Physics Institute of the Belarusian Academy of Sciences and in BSU. He was the director of the Centre for Future Research and a Doctor of Philosophy.
Alyaksandr Patupa was a member of human rights organizations and of the Belarusian Association of Journalists. He was the author of many scientific, educational and artistic books and hundreds of articles.
