Belarusian publisher receives prestigious prize in London
Belarusian Association of Journalists nominated Ihar Lohvinau for the Freedom to Publish Prize awarded by the International Publishers Association.
The sum of the prize is 10 thousand Swiss francs. The publisher’s daughter, Alyaksandra Lohvinava, came to London Book Fair to receive the award.
The founders of the prize noted Lohvinau’s publishing activity and mentioned the fact that the Belarusian Ministry of Information had suspended the license of the publishing house Lohvinau a year before.
