Tennis: Belarus stars may clash in US Open doubles semi-finals

Victoria Azarenka has made it to the US Open doubles semi-finals. The Belarusian and Ashleigh Barty of Australia have defeated Timea Babos of Hungary and Kristina Mladenovic of France, 2-6, 7-5, 6-1, in the quarterfinals. The match took almost 2 hours.
Aryna Sabalenka and Belgian Elise Mertens also made it to the semifinals yesterday. It means that the Belarusian tennis players may have to compete in the US Open doubles semi-finals. Alyaksandra Sasnovich is also trying to make it to the semifinals.
