Blasting assembly planted in Maidan, activist injured

The blasting assembly exploded when a pack of medicines was opened.  A young man lost his hand due to it. He is in hospital now, Ukrainskaya Pravda reports. The explosive is being analyzed at the moment.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs refutes the information. According to the Ministry, the blast occurred on the fifth floor of the House of Trade Unions. The wounded man is in hospital is a serious condition now: besides the hand trauma, he also received eye injuries.

Maidan activists did not call the police because they do not trust them. They are conducting their own investigation.
