‘Bloody’ Moon to be seen on October 8 (video)
It is a rare astronomical phenomenon when a total lunar eclipse coincides with a sunset or sunrise.
The Moon will enter the shadow of our planet and then leave it. The Earth satellite will change its colour to various shades of red in the process because it will keep getting some light even during the eclipse.
Inhabitants of Australia, South-West Asia and the Pacific coast will be able to see the phenomenon, RIA Novosti reports. Sadly, Belarusians will not see it.
