BMW X5 sprayed with paint in Minsk, possibly for Russian flag (photo)
Cars with Russian symbols in Minsk often get vandalized, said car wash workers.
A BMW X5 parked in Minsk has become the victim of an unknown attacker. The black car parked in the yard near Ihumenski Road was poured with white paint.
According to the driver, quoted by onliner.by, the BMW was parked according to the traffic rules and was not a problem for anyone. Friends of the driver felt that the car was painted over by an offended admirer. But the car wash workers believe that this could have been a way for someone to react to the ad hoc Russian flag behind the windshield - five fingers in colors of the Russian tricolor. "They say that cars with similar symbols: St. George ribbons, labels such as "Thank you, granddad for the victory!", the Russian flag are often damaged," said the driver.
