Brest-Moscow train on fire near Zhabinka (photo report)
The Moscow-bound train catches fire at the cafe car 18 minutes after departure from Brest.
The fire partially covered the carriage, informs the press-office of the Brest regional branch of the Ministry for Emergency Situations. The carriage was cut off even before the rescuers arrived and distinguished the fire. According to preliminary information, the reason for fire was the short-circuit failure.
There were 89 passengers and 15 crew members aboard on the train. No one suffered.
The Russian-formated train was rearranged at the spare way of Zhabinka railway station. The train movement was fully resumed at 20.32. The delay of 7 trains made up from 11 minutes to 2 hours 24 minutes in total.
