This is done to identify people who may suffer from Ebola.
In the Warsaw-Minsk bus, employee of the health control measures the temperature of each of the passengers with a special device. The screen shows if a passanger has a fever.
Euroradio has learned that it is the method of checking passengers at the airport, because there is the greatest probability of having people from Ebola countries. Bus passengers in automobile checkpoints are checked the same way. Cars are checked only if there is a suspicion.
"If you had a fever, you would be asked questions: where are you coming from, whom you had contact with, were you in the West African countries. And if it is confirmed, you will be temporarily isolated for observation," Euroradio was told in the Ministry of Health.
Thus, the airports have stationary thermal imagers installed, and the road checkpoints have portable ones.
