Catholics from Minsk take off on pilgrimage to Budslau
Hundreds of Roman Catholics on Saturday took off on a pilgrimage from Minsk to Budslau. Every year, it begins from the walls of the Minsk Cathedral on June 27 and ends on July 1 near the icon of God's Mother of Budslau. Radio Svaboda reports the distance of the pilgrimage from Minsk to Budslau is 180 km.
The participants are carrying blue flags, caps and scarfs, depicting Minsk-Budslau. 300 people took off from Minsk to be joined by Catholics from across Belarus on the way.
