Chavez urges Lukashenka and Medvedev to unite
The Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez has sent letters to the Belarusian and Russian leaders urging them to unite during the world crisis. Chavez announced it on national TV, reports ITAR-TASS. “I have described the terrible crisis the planet is shaking with and that threatens the whole world in those letters”, - said the Venezuelan President.
According to Chavez, he is trying to convince Lukashenka and Medvedev that only unity “may help open a way to harmony beyond the rule of imperialism and capitalism”.
