Chernobyl Way detainees get jailed (updated)
Activists detained after the Chernobyl Way rally stood trials in Minsk's Sovietski District Court.
Dzyanis Karnou has been jailed for 20 days. The young man was accused of swearing and refusing to get in a police car. Judge Fyodarava pronounced the sentence, Radio Liberty reports.
Russian citizen Vladimir Novikov has been jailed for 15 days for disobedience to the police and hooliganism.
Yury Rubtsou was delivered to court stripped to the waist. He got out of the police car only in his trousers. He had to spend the whole night in a cold cell like that, the other detained said.
