Chief of General Staff of Ukrainian Armed Forces sacked
Native of Belarus Yuri Illin spent 9 days in the position.
Acting President Alexander Turchinov made the decision on Friday, UNIAN reports. Victor Yanukovich appointed Illin to the position during the clashes in Kiev that resulted in many casualties on February 19.
Yuri Illin was taken to hospital with a heart attack yesterday.
