Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski has commented Aliaksandr Lukashenka's statement about Belarus' preparations for war published on the website "Zerkalo".

"Let him try. Let's see who will win," Sikorski noted.

The head of Polish diplomacy arrived in the Belgian capital, where the NATO headquarters is hosting a meeting of the alliance's foreign ministers on April 3-4.

As Euroradio previously reported, on April 2, Lukashenka said during a trip to Hrodna that Belarus was preparing for war: "Don't believe anyone that we want to go to war. We are preparing for war, I'm talking about it openly. "If you want peace, prepare for war" - I didn't make it up. It is said very rightly".

Lukashenka's words were also commented on the eve by the representative of the EU foreign policy service, Peter Stano. He called Lukashenka an impostor and said that the EU is preparing to counter threats: "We are working to ensure that Europe is best equipped to counter any threats that come from people like Lukashenka or Putin".
