Minsk police and the tax inspectorate have confiscated champions League tickets costing rB50 million. Minskers were reselling them. For instance, a 43-year-old unemployed Minsker tried selling 9 tickets for Br6 million in Lenin District.

People could only buy two tickets at a time.

The police are trying to find out how resellers got so many tickets, Minsk police press secretary Alyaksandr Lastouski told Euroradio.

Lastouski: "The tickets have been sent back to ticket offices. A check-up will be conducted.”

Hoverer, the tickets are not up for sale and it is not clear when they will be available, Tciketpro reports.

BATE press secretary Syarhei Dashkevich cannot say whether the tickets will be sold either.

Syarhei Dashkevich: "The tickets confiscated by the police cannot be sold for the second time. There are two things that can be done: the tickets may be returned to Tciektpro in some way or they may be distributed for free in the form of invitations.”
