Dali’s producer: We will represent Poland instead of Belarus if we take part in Eurovision
If the “Dali” band ever tries to take part in “Eurovision” again, it will represent Poland, not Belarus. The band’s producer Ihar Znyk said it in an interview with ERB. The Belarusian musicians took the seventh position in the final of the Polish Eurovision selection contest. The jury put our compatriots on the fifth position while viewers – on the ninth. Nevertheless, producer Ihar Znyk is satisfied with the performance of the Belarusian band.
Znyk: We have performed very good taking into account that the band had not been advertised in Poland at all. We also like the comments we received on the Internet… We expected more votes from viewers. However, one sms cost 4 zlotys. Our public is Belarusian migrants, students from Belarus, people from Padlyashsha and youths who often lack 4 zlotys on their accounts.

At the same time, the producer paid attention to the bonuses “Dali” had received while participating in the Polish contest. The musicians are known in Poland thanks to their performances:
Znyk: More than 35 thousand people have listened to our song on the Internet. Many people watched our performance too – there are a lot of positive comments from Eurovision viewers.
It turns out like this: Natallya Padolskaya will represent Russia and “Dali” would like to represent Poland at Eurovision. Belarusian musicians will probably try taking part in Ukrainian and Lithuanian contests next year. In this case, it is not clear who will represent Belarus…
