Date and place of next Eurovision announced
Sweden will host the contest.
The organizers of Eurovision have announced the date and place of Euriovsion-2016. The contest will be held in Gobal Arena in Stockholm. The semifinals will be organized on May 10 and 12 and the final will be held on May 14.
Swede Måns Zelmerlöw has won this year’s Eurovision. The country has won the contest many times and produced world pop stars. One of the first bands that gained popularity after Eurovision was ABBA that won the contest with their song Waterloo in 1974. The song became a world hit. Singer Loreen won the contest in 2012.
Belarus has been taking part in Eurovision since 2004. The duet Usari&Maimuna took part in Eurovision-2015 but did not make it to the final. Belarus’ best result in the 6th place in the final – Dzmitry Kaldun did it in 2007.
