Discounts for owners of water-meters are cancelled

The government cancelled the 3-years 20% discount for water starting from October 30. Let us remind you that the discount was given to those who installed water-meters at their own expense, reports “Komsomolskaya pravda v Belarusi”. The head of the Centre of settlement of consumers’ accounts “Vodazbyt” of the unitary enterprise “Misnkvodacanal” Yuliya Dubrouskaya, the discount for water was introduced by the Council of Ministers on July 9, 1997.

However, it was cancelled on October 30, 2007. It happened after the government took the decision on October 18.  “Misnkvodacanal” asked the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services to give explanations.
