Dollar rate goes down while euro hits record
After the trades on February 4, the National Bank set the new rates for the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange. The dollar rate fell by 232 rubles, and now costs 21,486 rubles, the euro rate, on the contrary, rose by 122 rubles - up to 23,798 rubles.
The euro has broken its own record. Last time the highest rate was on 22 February - 23,779 rubles.
The Russian ruble also rose nearly 7 rubles and now is 280.73 BYR.
Belarusian ruble fell to a basket of currencies by 0.8%. Since the beginning of the year, the Belarusian ruble has fallen to the basket of currencies by 13.81%, against the dollar, the ruble lost 15.71%, against the euro - 17.23% and 9.95% against the Russian ruble.
