Driving inspectorate to start ‘catching’ drunken pedestrians in Minsk

Minsk driving inspectorate will start a special operation on March 6. It will be called ‘Pedestrian’ and will be aimed at preventing pedestrians from violating the road rules. Intoxicated people will be focused on most of all.
Pedestrians are getting involved in road accidents more and more every spring, the driving inspectorate explained. The weather, the absence of flickers and violation of the road rules are to blame for it.
Driving inspectors and policemen will take part in the operation. ‘Pedestrian’ will end on March 15 abw.by reports.
