Economics and law still popular with students in Belarus
One in three Belarusian students studied economics or law in the previous year.
These professions are still the most popular in our country. According to the National Statistics Committee, the professions are still the most popular regardless of the fact that the intake of students has decreased by 41% (in comparison with 2010). 37% of all students studied economics or law last year.
Technical and building trades are also popular with the youth, BELTA reports. Every fourth Belarusian student studies them.
