Egypt declares state of emergency
For one month, the government has decided it today.
The police and army attacked the tents of the Muslim Brotherhood in Cairo with bulldozers on the morning on August 14. They are resisting and have called their adherents for help. An exchange of fire occurred in the city.
Hundreds of people have been killed or injured, the UN reports. The UN Secretary General has condemned the use of force against Pro-Mursi protesters, RIA Novosti reports. 56 people were killed and 526 were injured in the clashes, the Egyptian Ministry of Health said.
