Entrepreneurs offer bailout plan to rescue small businesses
On December 14, Minsk hosted a forum of entrepreneurs. About 1,000 representatives of small business gathered in the conference room of Victoria Hotel .
At the forum, the chairman of the NGO "Perspective" Anatol Shumchanka presented an anti-crisis plan, which will, in his opinion, solve the problems of small businesses.
The plan proposed to introduce a semi-annual moratorium on the Lukashenka Decree 222 on the regulation of business activity until January 1, 2016. It also proposed to introduce a moratorium on the technical regulations of the Customs Union called "On the safety of products of light industry" using a separate decree of Lukashenka.
In addition, the "Perspective" proposed to establish a working group of entrepreneurs at the Presidential Administration. This group should work out the best solution for the settlement of the entrepreneurs' problems in the current situation.
Shumchanka proposed to introduce representatives of "Perspective" into the Council for Enterprise Development under the President.
Entrepreneurs are planning to suspend their work on January 1, 2016 and to hold the next forum on January 11.
