European Commission to discuss visa regime simplification

Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Alena Kupchyna told it to Belarus 1.

She headed the Belarusian delegation at a meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Visegrád Group and the Eastern Partnership in Budapest on April 28-29.

The Eastern Partnership needs a serious review, Kupchyna claimed. Western partners and the other members of the Eastern Partnership have already mentioned the necessity of reconsidering the EU’s initiative, she noted.

"It is essential to provide equal, non-discriminatory conditions for all the members of the Eastern Partnership. We insist on Belarus’ full-fledged participation in the programme’s bilateral track,” BelaPAN quotes Kupchyna.
