European Commission suggests introducing visa-free regime for Ukraine

Ukraine has fulfilled all the requirements to be included on the list of countries with the visa-free regime, the European Commission believes. The statement was made in Brussels on Friday, UNIAN reports.

Ukraine has fulfilled the terms mentioned in the four paragraphs of the visa regime liberalization plan, the European Commission reports. The European Commission will make its legislative suggestion at the beginning of 2016. The suggestion has to be approved by the Council of the EU and the European Parliament before coming into force.

However, Ukraine has not reached some of the anti-corruption struggle goals yet, the European Commission noted in the report.
