Exhibition Art Islands opens near Kamsamolskaye Lake (photo)
A large-scale open-air exhibition is about to open near Kamsamolskaye Lake in the centre of Minsk. The huge objects were created by famous artists and made of various materials – from wood to plastic and metal. Some installations are five or more metres high.
The exhibition will be officially opened at 6 p.m. on June 23. The project is supposed to help organize creative environment in Minsk and involve citizens in the process of development of modern art.
The Art Islands will be opened for about three months – until the City Day (September 10). It will be possible to visit the exhibition at any time.
