Finance Ministry: Consolidated budget has surplus of 16 trillion rubles
The consolidated revenue budget of Belarus in 2015 totalled 101.3% of the adjusted plan, said Finance Minister Uladzimir Amaryn on February 19th at the meeting on the 2015 budget implementation and objectives of financial agencies in 2016.
According to his information, the consolidated revenue budget for last year totalled 266.3 trillion rubles. Expenditures amounted to 250.4 trillion, and there was a surplus of 15.9 trillion rubles.
Most of this surplus (15.1 trillion) was formed by the export customs duties on oil products. These funds were used to pay off the national debt.
The Minsk and regional budgets received 138.2 trillion last year, or 100.5% of the annual plan, while expenditures were financed in the amount of 137.6 trillion or 98.8%, BelTA reports.
