Fines to go up by 30% in Belarus
The base amount will increase to Br130 thousand on October 1.
Ticket and road rules violation fines will increase accordingly. The base amount was increased by decree #842 of the Council of Ministers on September 26.
Everything that depends on the base amount will also increase now, press secretary of the Council of Minister Volha Duhaya explained to Euroradio.
Douhaya: “Ticket fines will increase too alongside with fines for violating the road rules, etc.”
Moreover, the dole, scholarships, bonuses and fines also depend on the base amount. The base amount increased from 35 to 100 thousand roubles on April 1, 2012.
