Fire in Minsk: 10 people evacuated
A cigarette stub thrown from the top level is reportedly to blame for the blaze.
The incident happened on May 30 in Yasenin Street. According to the press-office of the Ministry for Emergency Situations, someone told the rescuers there was smoke coming out of the apartment at the third floor of the 9-storeyed building.
It turned out later that the things on the balcony were burning. A 9-year-old boy was in the apartment when the fire started. He managed to leave by himself before the rescuers arrived. The rescuers evacuated 10 people from other apartments.
