Germany calls for second Geneva conference over Ukraine crisis
Germany's Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier urges key powers to gather again at round table to discuss deescalation of the crisis in Ukraine
Steinmeier discussed the issue with High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the EU Catherine Ashton, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, Russian Minister for Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov and OSCE representatives by phone on May 4, UNIAN reports.
A firm agreement that would put an end to the Ukrainian conflict and allow making political decisions should be the result of such a meeting, Steinmeier noted.
Any delay will result in new victims, he said.
