Ice hockey: Hanlon to arrive to Minsk on Saturday
Glen Hanlon, head coach of Belarus national ice hockey team, will arrive to Minsk on August 10 to begin his new contract.
Hanlon is expected to have the plan of preparations of the national team for the Ice Hockey World Championship-2014 in Minsk okayed by Belarusian Ice Hockey Federation. Dynama Minsk coach Aleh Mikulchyk is planned to be appointed as an assistant coach. As for other assistants, the Canadian manager will decide on the candidates later, BELTA informs.
Hanlon's contract, effective from July 1, 2013, is valid for 2 years and may be extended for a year.
