Homel fans make banner with city’s ancient coat of arms (photo)
You could see it at the yesterday’s match of Belarus Football Cup Homel-Nyoman (Hrodna).
The Belarusian banner says: “Homel. The best City. The best club.” It is green and white and contains the emblem of FC Homel and the ancient coat of arms of the regional centre – a white cross in the red background (the city received it in the 16th century, a different coat of arms is officially used now).
Homel lost to Nyoman yesterday – 0:1.
