Activist Dabratvor released
Civil activist Illya Dabratvor was released in the evening of September 4 after ending his 5-day arrest.
He was detained at the metro station Urucca in Minsk when carrying a white-red-white flag on August 30. Dabratvor explained his action by his desire to remind that not everybody supported the current government on Lukashenka's birthday.
Dabratvor’s sentence was pronounced by judge Syarhei Bandarenka, notorious for convicting political prisoner Ales Byalyatski.
Illya Dabratvor is an activist with the solidarity Movement "Razam" (Together) registered in the Czech Republic.
