Independent newspaper “Novy Chas” receives prize of German fund “Zeit”

A Belarusian independent newspaper “Novy Chas” has received the prize of a German fund “Zeit”. The ceremony of award took place in the capital of Norway Oslo in the Nobel Institute.
BelaPAN notes that the Zeit prize is an annual prize awarded to journalists and mass media from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia and North Caucasian republics promoting the freedom of speech and supporting the liberal civil community.
