Inflation in Belarus may slow down to 9-12% in 2015
The Eurasian Development Bank's analysts offer fresh estimation of inflation in Belarus.
Inflation in Belarus at the end of 2015 may slow down to 9-12%. The forecast was published by the Analytics Department of Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), BELTA reports.
However, these pleasant prospects are possible only if the National Bank is able to avoid a significant devaluation of the national currency.

Analysts believe the main threat to be the pressure of the declining economic activity. Belarusian state budget is likely to be drafted with a zero or positive balance, but lower than in 2014. GDP in the current environment can also be reduced in comparison with 2014 year by 1-2%.
