Investigators checking Euroradio journalists’ detention
The incident occurred at Minsk railways station on November 19.
10 journalists (reporters and photographers) were detained at Minsk railway station “for questioning”. They wanted to meet Pavel Sevyarynets on his release from a penal labour camp.
Euroradio journalists Ales Piletski and Vital Ruhain were among them. The journalists were let off only after Sevyarynets had left the railway station.
The Belarusian Association of Journalists lodged a complaint about the actions of the police which became the reason for the check-up conducted by the Investigation Committee now. It will last until December 4, BelaPAN reports.
