Iran will supply 45 thousand cars to Belarus in the next three years, the IRNA news agency reported. The figure was announced by the Iranian Minister of Industry, Mineral Resources and Trade Seyed Reza Fatemi Amin. The contract was signed for about 45 million dollars.

Sales of new cars in Belarus have recently decreased significantly and continue to decline. After the start of Russia's war against Ukraine and the imposition of new sanctions, many manufacturers left the Belarusian market. Now there are 11 brands, 34 models - 4 times less than a year ago.

In January, Belarusian showrooms sold a total of 756 cars, which is 46% less than in December. Chinese Geely remains the leader in sales. The second place is occupied by LADA, the third - by another Chinese brand JAC.
