Journalist Alyaksandr Alesin released on recognizance
He spent about two weeks in KGB prison.
Journalist and military analyst Alyaksandr Alesin has been let off from KGB detention centre, editor-in-chief of Belarusians and Market Vyachaslau Hadasouski told Euroradio. Alesin works for this newspaper.
Alyaksandr Alesin has been released on recognizance and is not allowed to comment on his case, Hadasouski said.
Journalist of Belarusians and Market Alyaksandr Alesin was arrested by KGB at the end of November. A European diplomat was detained together with him in a Minsk café. Some secret documents were found on the diplomat and investigators tried to find out whether the journalist had given them to him.
