KGB brings together information security experts at President Hotel in Minsk

A two-day international conference titled "Information Revolution and New Era's Challenges: Incentives for Modern Approaches to Information Security" began on 29 November at the President Hotel in Minsk. The conference is organized by the National Security Institute and the State Security Committee known in Belarus as KGB. The Presidential Administration's newspaper Belarus Today reports the conference aims "to identify threats triggered by the digital economy" and "to exchange practical experience in their mitigation."
The conference is attended by special service officers, experts from various state bodies, think tanks and universities, IT companies and financial institutions. The list of participants includes guests from China, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
