Kramer: Russia saves Lukashenka's regime from inevitable death (video)
President of the human rights organization Freedom House David Kramer has said this.
Kramer has noted in an
interview to the "Voice of America" that the Belarusian authorities were on the
edge of inevitable downfall in 2011 but the multi-billion credit from Russia
changed the situation.
Nevertheless, says Kramer, the West should not stop the economic and political
pressure on the official Minsk with regard to human right.
In the opinion of the Freedom House President, political repressions in Belarus only increased after the dispersal of the 30-thousand demonstration in Minsk in 2010.
