Large batch of contraband cigarettes arrested at Polish border
Frontiers guards have arrested a large batch of contraband cigarettes at the check-point "Warsaw Bridge", informs ОNТ TV-channel. A recess for 10 500 cigarette packs has been arranged in the international route bus.
The bus with German numbers went along the Moscow-Berlin route. It was in fact stuffed with contraband. The recess was placed in the hollow under the passengers' seats all over the salon. A long belt of cigarette blocks was packed in there. According to frontier guards, increase of prices for cigarettes in the EU countries reflects on contrabandists' activity.
