Lenin Square and Frunzenskaya stations - admitted with a bag, no control

A policeman is standing at the entrance to the "Lenin Square" metro station, from the direction of the railway station. I am approaching the turnstiles carrying a travelling bag with a basketball, a bottle of juice and several boxes inside. I am not hiding the bag, carrying it so that the policeman could see it. He does not pay attention to that, and passes me by, approaching my colleague, who takes out the phone and starts filming. The colleague hides the phone and the policeman goes by.

There is no policeman anymore, he left

We proceed to the "Frunzenskaya" metro station, come out and then return to the metro through the same entrance which the terrorist with the bag came. A policeman is standing there. I am entering the metro through the turnstile located second from him, the same as the terrorist in the video.

The "Frunzenskaya" metro station is empty, there is no one there apart from myself, a person with a bag and my colleague with a phone. No one pays attention to us. Back on April 11, 2011, the policeman also did not pay attention to the man with a bag and got 3 years of imprisonment for this.

Thus, we got to the "Frunzenskaya" metro station from the railway station with no problem and got back to "Kupalauskaya", following the terrorist's possible route - no searches. We decide to make our task more complicated - we enter the "Kastrychnitskaya" station from the above. We come out to the street and return through the central entrance.

Only here the policeman on our way shows vigilance. I am approaching the turnstile, walking fast in a crowd. The policeman notices a big bag in the stream of people and runs towards me. He catches me at the very turnstile, stops me and checks the bag with a metal detector. The detector does not react, so he lets me go.

In the center of the snap-shot, under the bank's sign, the policeman is checking the bag with a metal detector, see more in the following video.

"You look trustworthy, that is why no one stopped you", — they reply in the metro to the question "Why so?" We can only hope that policemen learned to define suspicious people by the appearance or that they have some new systems of control.

However, sometimes there are no policemen at all at the stations. For example, there was no one at the entrance to the "Frunzenskaya" metro station at 9.35 a.m. on June 8.

The entrance to the station "Yakub Kolas Square", 21.05, June 13 - no policemen.

On the next day, June 14, at 14.26, there was no one at the "Lenin Square". If the metro security service officers want to see the video, they are welcome to do so. This is exactly the reason why Euroradio decided to walk round the metro with a big bag. You see what happened.
