Lukashenka and Lavrov to meet in Minsk
Alyaksandr Lukashenka and Sergei Lavrov will meet in Minsk on Monday, May 16. The Russian Minister for Foreign Affairs will pay a working visit to Belarus.
Lavrov will also meet with Belarusian Foreign Minister Uladzimir Makei, Euroradio reported. They will discuss ‘a wide range of bilateral cooperation issues’. The press service of the Russian Ministry for Foreign Affairs announced that Lavrov would meet with Lukashenka. They will discuss the realization of the joint statement of the Belarusian and Russian Presidents as regards the programme of coordinated foreign policy adopted in Moscow in December 2015.
The Russian Foreign Minister is also planning to meet with political scientists, representatives of civil organizations, teachers and students of the BSU faculty of international relations.
