Lukashenka burnt in effigy in Kyrgyzstan (photo)
People have protested against the fact that the Belarusian President gave political asylum to Kurmanbek Bakiyev.
Kyrgyz human rights defender Andurush Taktosanyrov has burnt Alyaksandr Lukashenka in effigy in front of the Kyrgyz Parliament. The civil activist demanded to extradite former Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiyev from Belarus.
Taktosanyrov has already organized many actions near the Belarusian Embassy, rus.azattyk.kg reports.
Kurmanbek Bakiyev fled from Kyrgyzstan in 2010. He was accused of having ordered to shoot at peaceful protesters and sentenced to life imprisonment in his absence. Bakiyev has already spent five years in Belarus. He received a political asylum in our country.
