Lukashenka demands to increase Belarusian export
The Belarusian leader Alyaksandr Lukashenka demanded to increase the export of Belarusian goods to keep stability at the country’s money-market. According to official sources, the regulation was pronounced by the leader of the country on June 11 while presenting a new head of Minsk Region Executive Committee Leanid Krupets. Lukashenka noted that the export was reduced in the first quarter of the year and the last year’s export plan wasn’t fulfilled.
According to him, Belarus was on the edge of a financial crisis at the end of 2006 and at the beginning of 2007, but the situation was stabilized.
