Lukashenka meets with World Bank representative
Alyaksandr Lukashenka met with World Bank Vice President for Europe and Central Asia Cyril Muller in Minsk on June 2. He is expecting to develop an effective road map of further cooperation between our country and the World Bank, the Belarusian President said.
"We will have to define the road map, the programme of our future cooperation, at the end of this year,” BELTA quotes Lukashenka. “I believe that we can do it on time and it will not be worse than in the past years.”
Belarus and the World Bank are conducting joint programmes costing almost 1 billion dollars. There are projects in the field of water supply, improvement of power efficiency, modernization of highways and development of forest management.
