Lukashenka: Wars of sanctions to affect Belarus

Speaking in the parliament today to deliver his State of the Nation, President Aliaksandr Lukashenka mentioned the inreasing international tensions. The war which is beginning in the world is described by some as a new 'cold’ or even ‘icy,’ he said.

Belarus cannot stay away from international conflicts. “The wars of sanctions will definitely affect us. But we will not shut ourselves from the world,” Lukashenka stressed.
