Lukashenka yet to sign new lower utility rates
Aliaksandr Lukashenka approved of new utulity rates on March 14 at the session of a working group tasked to develop transparent utility tariffs for the people of Belarus, according to the state news agency Belta.
The heaf of state said at the meeting that 'today's session should be the last one on the way to workig out clear-cut, normal, transparent and fair utility rates,'.
Euroradio reported earlier that water supply rates would be reduced by 41.5%, wastewater disposal rates by 55.1%, elevator maintenance by almost 30%.
The president is expected to sign his decree on utility rates soon.
