Lyavon Volskі: “BATE, we are always with you! The rest suck!”
ERB has decided to prepare Belarusian fans for the match BATE-“Real”. They should not keep silent and they should better try to support their team. We have asked famous Belarusian literary men, musicians and sportsmen to compose verses for fans. Representatives of the Belarusian creative elite were great. The leader of “NRM”, a literary man Lyavon Volski, was the first to compose verses. His idea was to support BATE because had had become its fan not long before. This is what he prepared:

BATE, we are always with you!
The rest suck!
Two
There can be no other way,
BATE will defeat you anyway!

BATE, go ahead fast,
Because it’s you that we trust!

BATE’s number one!

A poet imaginist Hleb Labadzenka has written an octet instead of a fan verse for BATE:
I am shouting for BATE in the stadium,
I am jumping! I’m shaking my fist.
Heaven has revealed it to me:
I love BATE like my wife!
My darling, I’m sorry, pardon,
But I am praying for my club to win!
If BATE wins today,
We will drink champagne!
A song composer Zmitser Vaitsyushkevch does not consider himself a poet but is ready to write an ode for BATE. His improvised fan verse is this one:
We are rooting for BATE,
A nice team that in the end -
With the help of karate -
Will defeat the “Zenit” band.
P.S.: “Zenit” can be replaced with Real, etc.
Zmіcer Lukashuk, the author of “Krama”’s “Run, run, guy”, has already prepared a blue-yellow T-shirt and a scarf for the match BATE-“Real”. He has also composed verses to support BATE.
