Maduro’s slip of tongue: They speculate and steal just like we do
The Venezuelan President has landed in a pickle.
Nicolás Maduro made another public slip of the tongue. He was describing the complicated situation in the Venezuelan trade system which had led to the introduction of the Law on Pricing not long before.
"We are paying attention to small businesses that are considered to be capitalism victims and capitalists who speculate and steal just like we do…” RIA Novosti quotes Maduro.
The Venezuelan President’s statement caused a wave of comments and jokes in social networks although everyone understands that it was just a slip of the tongue.
