Man brings 13kg of coins to top up his bank account in Minsk (photo)

An Alfa Bank client in Minsk brought 13 kg of coins - all worth 1 kopek - and asked to boost his bank card.
The bank's press office notes that the customer planned to collect 1000 coins but later could not stop and eventually ended up with a full coin box.
The bank tellers did not suffer as they have a special device handy. It took them only 15 minutes to count a total of 8436 coins.
1 BYN = 100 kopeks = approx. 50 US dollar cents.
